A curadoria de informação aplicada ao jornalismo : uma análise comparativa de aplicativos móveis

Abstract

The following work intends to understand the different uses of information curation in mobile applications. With society in constant and ubiquitous interaction with cyberspace, new reading behaviors are detected. In this situation, apps using different combinations of curation for content delivery are created. This study focuses on the differences e characteristics of the social, algorithmic and journalistic curations in six mobile apps to understand how they influence in the reader's information consumption, through a methodological approach inspired in reverse engineering's logic. After analyzing and comparing these apps content curation with the one used by traditional media, this work highlights the importance of combining different types of curation - generated by both human and computer - for news reading in the digital ecosystem of information overload.
