Abstract

The present work aims to analyze, under a hermeneutic approach based on cybertheology, the proclamation of faith and the possibility of thinking and living faith in online times. The question from this perspective would be: in a plural, global and technological society, wouldn't Christians suffer any impact on their way of living and thinking about faith? What are the formative and pastoral challenges that require a reflective look on the part of everyone? What can theological reflection offer as a contribution to the debate around networks? The research contextualizes the Second Vatican Council, before, during and the post-conciliar period in relation to the phenomenon of communication. The methodology of this dissertation research will be based on an inductive, phenomenological and hermeneutic approach. Throughout the work, the evolution of the Church's perspective on communication and its mission in cyberculture can be seen, such as the impacts arising from technological advances on the experience of faith and the development of a Theology of Communication that dialogues with the languages of culture digital format aimed at enriching the Church’s pastoral proposals
