| Title: | Os amores masculinos : Desiderium afetivo sexual de masculinidades na narrativa seriada de Looking (2014) |

| Abstract (native): | Este texto dissertativo de mestrado tem como objetivo analisar as representações das relações amorosas de masculinidades subordinadas construídas em narrativas seriadas. Assim, faz uma revisão teórica acerca do sentimento de amor com base em BAUMAN (2004), COSTA (1998), ILLOUZ (2011), LINS (2013), entre outros, bem como apresenta as matizes da dominação masculina (BOURDIEU, 2002) e os conceitos de masculinidade hegemônica e masculinidade subordinada, suscitados por CONNELL e MESSERCHIMIDT (2013), LANG (2001) e outros teóricos. Escolhe o seriado Looking (HBO, 2014) como objeto de pesquisa por apresentar uma trama estruturada especificamente em torno das afetividades homossexuais e a situa, com base em SILVA (2013), em uma “cultura das séries”. A análise proposta é a multiperspectívica e multicultural, instrumento defendido por KELLNER (2001). A análise das cenas de episódios do seriado mostrou que, apesar de visibilizar as práticas cotidianas da homossocialidade, a afetividade das masculinidades subordinadas perpetua um padrão heteronormativo de vivência do sentimento de amor para este grupo identitário. |
| Abstract (english): | This investigation aims to analyze the representations of relationships of subordinate masculinities built in serial narratives. It therefore makes a theoretical review about love based on BAUMAN (2004), COSTA (1998), ILLOUZ (2011), LINS (2013), among others, and presents the concept of male domination (BOURDIEU, 2002) as well the concepts of hegemonic and subordinated masculinities raised by CONNELL and MESSERCHIMIDT (2013), LANG (2001). Choose Looking series (HBO, 2014) as a research subject by presenting a structured plot specifically around gay affectivity and based the serial narrative in the concept of “cultura das series” from SILVA (2013). The analysis is multicultural and multiperspective by KELLNER (2001). The analysis of the show's episodes scenes showed that despite visible the daily practices of homosociality, affectivity of subordinate masculinities perpetuates a heteronormative standard of living the love feeling for this identity group. |
