| Abstract (native): | Esta tese estuda a Academia Rio-Grandense de Letras, resgatando sua história e produção, tendo como base a teoria dos polissistemas, de Itamar Even-Zohar. O material analisado baseia-se em fontes primárias originárias da própria Academia e privilegia dados da história da instituição, seu quadro social e o seu periódico que circula de 1910 até a presente data. Através do corpus selecionado, o estudo evidencia como a agremiação consiste em um sistema literário que alicerça outro maior: o sistema literário rio-grandense |
| Abstract (english): | The present thesis consists in a study of the Rio-Grandense Academy of Letters, reviewing its history and production, based on Itamar Even-Zohar s polysystem theory. The material hereby analysed is based on primary sources originated by the Academy itself and focuses on data about the institution s history, membership, and periodical journal, which has been in circulation since 1910. This study uses the selected corpus to highlight the way in which this association comprises a literary system that serves as foundation for a larger one: the rio-grandense literary system |
